All PathwaysLinked’s services, including Christian Counseling, Life Coaching, Mentorship, Emotional Intelligence, and The Paradigm Series, are centered around our Tree of Life metaphor and our 20 core principles of relevance. Each service is designed to guide clients from a life of existing to a life of relevance.
PathwaysLinked‘s Christian counseling is pastoral counseling that draws upon psychology and Christian teachings; practitioners approach psychology through the lens of the Bible. As pastors we are dedicated to glorifying God by caring for those who are distressed or struggling emotionally, mentally and spiritually. In serving these persons we focus on intertwining the disciplines of faith and psychology to provide an approach to mental and emotional health that pulls from biblical teachings. As practitioners of this style of counseling we incorporate religious scripture and teachings to guide you through challenging life issues.
PathwaysLinked‘s Coaching helps people move forward and set personal and professional goals that will give them the life they really want. Most life coaching clients are healthy, successful people who might be a bit stuck or simply want to make a big change in their lives and want the support of their own personal coach to do so.
What is a professional coach?
ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential, which is particularly important in today’s uncertain and complex environment
PathwaysLinked’s Mentoring is a powerful personal and career development tool that can enable the mentee to achieve or exceed their life goals and aspirations. A mentor according to Merriam-Webster is ‘a trusted counselor or guide’. Although the term mentor was derived from ancient Greece, neither its meaning nor purpose has changed or diminished through the millennia. The role of a mentor is multi-faceted, may be formal or informal, and may change or evolve as the needs of the mentee change. A mentor can be a role model, coach, sounding board, voice of reason, emotional support, counselor, and a trusted resource.
“PathwaysLinked has completely transformed my entire life…I have always lived in the past or future, but now I stay focused on the here and now… I now have a healthy self-esteem. I manage the thoughts of shame and anger better than before.”
PathwaysLinked’s Emotional Intelligence is a 1-day course that teaches participants how to master their emotions and be not driven by them.
We deal directly with anger, shame, perfectionism, and self-esteem in a way that will open up and transform your life.
By preparing yourself ahead of time, you’ll find that the problematic emotion goes away before it interferes with your life:
1. Select the situation. Avoid circumstances that trigger unwanted emotions. …
2. Modify the situation. …
3. Shift your attentional focus. …
4. Change your thoughts. …
5. Change your response….
Paradigm Thinking is an intense journey of self-discovery where we help each individual discover who they were created to be and help them implement each concept in their real lives right here right now. The big shift starts as they discover that they are not controlled or defined by the world around them, and success is defined from within us. We use a combination of group learning and intense one-on-one coaching to create unique and personal experiences. This combination of training increases the “stick” factor, and behavioral changes are noticeable within the first few weeks.
